Reporting Child Abuse

 

Pursuant Pa. Law, the policy specifically outlines the reporting steps, which are

 

1. If a child is in immediate danger, contact police at 9-1-1 to obtain immediate protection for child.

 

2. Immediately make a report to the Pa. Department of Human Services via Childline at https://www.compass.state.pa.us/CWISor call 1-800-932-0313

 



 

ChildLine provides information, counseling, and referral services for families and children to ensure the safety and well-being of the children of Pennsylvania.

 

The toll-free intake line, 1-800-932-0313, is available 24 hours/7 days a week to receive reports of suspected child abuse.
