  1. I've been wondering the same thing. Why are they placing above-ground gas valves on nearly every block?
  2. The response from the school district is par for the course. http://wjactv.com/news/local/high-school-offers-summer-counseling-after-student-kills-herself-administrators-say
  3. I've also noted other areas of town getting new sidewalks and was wondering if the rest of the city can also expect to be provided with the same?
  4. Look at it this way. Those are very impressive stats! 1,768 likes for only a couple hundred posts!
  5. Very nice!
  6. I can't embed a video. The HTML is chosen under code option, but isn't highlighted. The code appears, but not the video. There is also no other way to edit to an HTML after posting. This is using Chrome.
  7. I know, but the problem is many such properties look terrible, which I presume is the point of the article.
  8. The article says to take pride in "your" property. The problem is there are more and more properties that do not belong to the people living in them. As far as I know, the city does not have any regulations regarding rental properties other than for water and sewer.
  9. Not to burst any bubbles but: "I’m David McCandless, a London-based author, writer and designer. I’ve written two beautiful infographic books and for The Guardian, Wired and others. I’m into anything strange and interesting. Who funds us? We are independent and entirely self-funded by sales of books & workshop tickets. We occasionally license our images and do commissioned projects for select commercial organisations."
  10. I don't have to demonstrate anything Bob. You, and several others, seem to find it amusing that anyone would worry that GMOs may not be safe, even though the only safety tests performed and accepted by the FDA were done by the company who produces the plants, as well as the herbicide.
  11. You should share concern for the welfare of future generations and not just yourself.
  12. Has anyone ever tested this is humans? Monsanto does their own studies: Multiomics reveal non-alcoholic fatty liver disease in rats following chronic exposure to an ultra-low dose of Roundup herbicide https://www.nature.com/articles/srep39328
  13. It's not about your own personal health, it's about changing the DNA of future generations.
  14. Infectious applies to plants and other living organisms. Other nations of the world believe they are infectious and that's the reason they don't allow GMOs. You seem to making a mountain out of a mole hill because you didn't feel like watching the video. Since then, you've picked at just about everyone in the thread.
  15. I have altered my eating habits. It is not that hard to find Non-GMO foods. Eating out is more of a problem. If I want a soda now, I will buy one made in Mexico or Europe, since they use real sugar and don't allow GMOs. If people would boycott products made with GMO crops, companies would stop using them.
