On this 1st Day of Spring at approximately 6:31 AM the 1st chick from 2 eggs laid emerged from it's shell to greet the world and it's parents.

All things in life are temporary. If going well enjoy it, they will not last forever.

The eagle nest on Bee Line across from Unilec Building  is no more, according today's Courier-Express blew down.

WOW, that sucks! The same thing happened to the Hays nest near Pittsburgh with a newly laid egg in it, but those eagles built another one near by and laid another egg. Maybe the ones near the Unelec building have done the same thing or will.

The eagles rebuilt the nest at Hays, but must have built it higher up because camera can not see in nest now. The last heard believe she laid egg because  she can see her head in nest.

2nd egg hatched today around 11:30 I guess. 2nd chick is looking good from what I have read. This is a lot better than last year when the 1st egg hatched and the chick died the next day and the 2nd egg never hatched. Unlike most of these people, mostly women, that stayed glued to the live feed all day I have to work. So....
...another "stolen" picture. :) and a screen shot of my own @ 4:30 after Momma came back.
